2 extortionists arrested

RANGAMATI: Personnel of armed forces arrested two extortionists while collecting tolls in the name of temple building without any receipt at Kutukchhari bazaar under kotowali upazila of the district yesterday, reports BSS.
The arrested were identified as Rupayon Chakma, 29, and his associate Alo Bikash Chakma, 27.
On a tip-off, a team of the armed forces conducted a raid in the area and arrested them with cash.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rangamati police confirmed the incident.
