Local tour operator wins Chinese tourism award

Journey plus, one of the leading inbound tour operators of Bangladesh, has won China Tourist Welcome (CTW) Award from China Outbound Tourism Research Institute (COTRI), reports BSS.
During the China Out-bound Travel and Tourism Market (COTTM) in Beijing on April 13, the COTRI declared the award for journey plus on Product Innovation category (Bronze) for Homestay in Paharpur, a press release said in Dhaka yesterday.
CEO of Journey Plus Taufiq Rahman, who is also secretary general of Bangla-desh PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) Chapter, received the award from COTRI Director Professor Dr Wolfgang Georg Arlt.
