PTI, KARACHI: Former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has asked for more time for him to take a decision on the chief selector’s position offered to him by Pakistan Cricket Board.
An official in the Board confirmed to PTI that PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan had invited Inzamam to his residence and had a detailed meeting with him.
“Shaharyar has offered Inzamam the chief selector’s position and also agreed to some points raised by the former captain who is now head coach of the Afghanistan team,” the official said.
The official said Inzamam had told the PCB chief he had a contract with the Afghanistan Board until December this year.
