Lalon Festival held in Rangpur

Lalon Festival was held at Begum Rokeya University on the campus on Friday night. Professor AKM Nur-Un-Nabi,Vice-chancellor of the university was chief  guest.
The university’s social and cultural orrganisation Gungun oragnised the programme. Professor Motiur Rahaman, Mrs Gul Nahar Begum, Abu Saleh Md Wadudur Rahaman, Provost, Fazilatun Nesa Mujib Hall, Abu Bakar Siddique, Researcher, Lalon, spoke among others. Fakir Babu Shah, Romsia, Sib Lalon, Aranna Abbas and artistes of Rangpur rendered Lalon song. Omor Faruq, president, Gungun was in the chair.
