RANGPUR: Vice-chancellor (VC) of the National University (NU) Professor Dr Harun-or-Rashid has said the university would become completely free from session jam by the year 2018, reports BSS.
“Teachers are the driving force of the NU and they should advance in the information and communication technology (ICT) to achieve the goal,” he said this while addressing a views-sharing meeting here on Friday as the chief guest.
The NU authority organised the views-sharing meeting styled ‘Management in National University’ with Principals of the colleges under the NU in Rangpur region at Rangpur Carmichael College auditorium in the city.
Treasurer of the NU Noman Ur Rashid, Director (Information Technology) Mominul Islam, Rangpur Regional Director Rabiul Haque, Assistant Director SM Tahmidur Rahman, addressed the meeting.
Principal of Carmichael College Professor Binte Hussaine Nasrine Banu and Principal of Moulana Keramat Ali Honours College Monwar Hossain, among other college Principals, forwarded various suggestions in the meeting to achieve the target.
