UP member aspirant found dead in Bandarban

Bandarban: A member candidate in Paindu Union Parishad election in Ruma upazila was found dead in a hotel of the district town yesterday, reports UNB. Police recovered the body of Mang Nu Marma, a member aspirant from ward 4 of the union parishad, from ‘Pru Abashika’ in the afternoon. Officer-in-Charge of Bandarban Police Station Rafiqullah said Mang went missing on Sunday night. On Tuesday afternoon, some employees of the residential hotel smelt bad odour coming out from room-105 and informed police. Later, police rushed in and recovered the body of Mang, the OC added.
