Worker falls to death

A worker died as he fell off a building in the capital’s Mirpur area on yesterday noon, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Sentu Sardar, 35. Salauddin Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Mirpur police station, said Sentu fell down and died on the spot while he was hanging a banner on the 2nd floor of the six-storey building in the opposite side of no 2 VIP gate of Shere-e-Banglanagar Cricket Stadium at Mirpur around 12:40 pm.
Police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue.
