Pahela Baishakh celebrations at Amari Dhaka

To greet the Bengali New Year and to celebrate Pahela Baishakh, Amari Dhaka, one of the premier luxury hotels of the country, has designed all its activities in traditional Bengali style. A cultural ambiance in traditional celebrations will create an authentic atmosphere, along with traditional Bengali foods on  April 14. This year, Amari has arranged some cultural activities, such as live traditional Baishakhi performances, with baul and flute, Bioscope show, Bengal seller, fortune teller and many more.
Amari’s signature venue, Amaya Food Gallery will offer an opportunity to enjoy traditional Bangladeshi cuisine on April 14 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amaya buffet will be serving traditional Hilsa dishes, Bhuna Khichuri, Biriyani, Mutton Biriyani, traditional chicken dishes, Beef Kalia, Rupchada Masala, Lau Chingri, Khashir Ghost Bhuna and Allo Gosht in Bangladeshi style. There will be various kinds of Bharta, such as Shutki Bharta, Aloo Bharta, Sim Bharta, Dal Bharta, Tomato Bharta, Bhendi Bharta, Fruit Chat and many more. Salads of all local ingredients, such as Raw Mango Salad, Chachumberi Salad, Shakkark and Chaat, Golden Chicken Salad, Tandoori Beef Salad, Kamranga Salad with Baby Shrimp and many more will be the special addition as appetisers. Also, the 24-hour open lobby lounge Cascade will be featuring traditional Bangladeshi deserts, such as chotpoti – fuchka, dekhipitha and many more such as special yogurt ice cream.
