India to apply one game approach, says Dhoni

Sports Reporter

India ODI skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said that they will apply their ‘one game approach’ at a time to give them the best chance to win the game against a spirited Bangladesh who had recently whitewashed Pakistan in the limited over cricket.
“To win the series is the foremost and taking one game at a time makes it easier,” he said.
“They (Bangladesh) are a very good ODI side and also you have seen they are playing ODI for a long time.  And also with the Twenty20 coming in it gives the guys bit more exposure.”
“At the same time it give them the right kind of calculative power’s when they can take the risk and when it’s important to back off. I always felt they are a very good ODI side and also shown improvement when it comes to Test cricket.”
The skipper said that they will try to perform their own strength to take the series for their own exploitation.
“We will play to our strengths and we will try to exploit it as much as we can,” Dhoni, who left the captaincy only from longer version just before the World Cup Down Under, insisted.
The successful Indian skipper said that the rivalry between Bangladesh and India is going on very excellent and right way in the sense of professionalism.
“It has been nice, it has been subtle. It has been very professional in the sense both the teams playing at their best wanting to win for their country. But we have not had any incident on the field which I feel is very important as far as sports is concerned. It has been good, it’s moving in the right direction,” the 34-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman said.
About Bangladesh atmosphere, Jharkhand-born Dhoni said, “The people here love their cricket. They come to support their team, they enjoy their cricket and I feel that’s something very important for an international side if you’ve people of your country loving your sport coming to back you in the stadium. It just pushes you to do even better, give in more than 100 per cent. Yes the traffic has gone worse from what it’s but other than that the people are nice. It’s a good place, provide the traffic.”
