SME fair begins April 13 in Khulna

A five-day long Small and Medium Entrepreneur's (SME) Commodity Fair will begin on Khulna Deputy Commissioner Office premises in the city tomorrow, reports BSS.
It was announced at a press briefing yesterday at Humayun Kabir Balu auditorium at Khulna Press Club.
Khulna district administration is organising the fair in collaboration with SME Foundation, Khulna Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bangladesh Bank with the aim of boosting exports of country-made products.
State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Narayan Chandra Chanda is expected to inaugurate the fair as the chief guest on April 13 while Khulna
divisional commissioner Abdus Samad will attend the closing ceremony as the chief guest on April 17.
A total of 44 SME organisations will participate in the fair showcasing their products, said the deputy commissioner adding that leather, jute and
agricultural products, handicrafts and others fashionable commodities will be on display.
