Badal defends BFF transparency

Ahead of the election after announcing the preliminary list of 134 councillors by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), there were much talking about the transparency of the list and BFF vice-president Badal Roy, answered to all the queries yesterday.
Earlier on Sunday, BFF announced the names of the councillors ahead of the upcoming election of the BFF.
Badal Roy, when talking to newsmen said that they followed the specific criteria and the BFF constitution when they made the list of the councillors –“All associations across the country, educational institutes, education boards and clubs select their delegates to represent respective organization.”
“There is no scope for BFF to pick any councillor, as the organization after forming their committee selects the delegates, we announce the preliminary list and there is every opportunity and time to make any objection appeal against this.”
“After the hearing of appeal, if any then the final it makes happy, sometimes no list of voters would be announced, so there is no way to make a fake list,” said Badal Roy.
Badal Roy, who will compete in the upcoming election also replied, “As for long time having close touch with football, certainly have some eagerness to work with the football. Sometimes it makes happy, sometimes not.”
“We want to work to reach our goal according to our plans, as in our last eight years tenures in some respect we were success, we organized seven Bangladesh Premier League including other domestic competitions and also started the football academy.”
“Yes, we have some failures also but there were some limitation and might be there was some gap among us.”
