Jatka worth over Tk 1cr seized in Ctg

A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) Chittagong city in a drive seized huge amount of jatka (small hilsa fish) worth over Tk 1 crore from city’s Fishery Ghat area yesterday.
Tamilur Rahman, executive magistrate of Chittagong District Administration, led the drive.
He said  “We have seized three hilsa laden truck from Fishery Ghat of the city.
Later in a drive from eight cold storages in the city we seized huge amount of hilsa fry worth over Tk one crore,” said Amir Ullah, assistant superintendent of police (ASP) of Rab-7. 

The drive was going on till file the report yesterday at 5pm.
