Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmahood Ali yesterday offered deepest condolences for the death of a large number of devotees at a temple in the Indian State of Kerala. In a message of condolence sent to Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, he expressed sympathies for the injured in the tragic incident and hoped that those trapped would be rescued safely. “We firmly stand beside you at this hour of grief; and pray for the eternal peace of those who have perished in and aftermath of the blaze and early recovery of the injured persons,” the minister said.
