Man killed �by nephew� over land dispute

Satkhira: A man, who was injured in an attack allegedly by his nephew over a land-related dispute at Chowgachha village in Patkelghata upazila on Saturday, died at Khulna 250-Bed General Hospital on yesterday morning, reports UNB. Officer-in-charge of Patkelghata Police Station Tariqul Islam said there had been a longstanding dispute between Abdul Sadek and his nephew Sheikh Shah Alam over the ownership of a piece of land. Over the issue, they locked in an altercation on Saturday afternoon. At one stage, Sheikh Shah Alam hit his uncle Abdul Sadek with a stick mercilessly, leaving him severely injured. Later he was admitted to Khulna 250-Bed General Hospital where he succumbed to her injures at about 10:30 am on yesterday.
