At least 30 houses were gutted in two fire incidents in Bandarban and Panchgarh districts yesterday. In Bandarban district, 26 houses were gutted and in Pnachgarh four. At least 26 houses were gutted in a devastating fire at Noapara village in Roangchhari upazila of Bandarban district on Saturday night, reports BSS. The fire originated from kitchen of a house and soon engulfed the adjacent houses of the village, fire station office sources said. Firemen with the help of locals brought the flame under control after one hour of frantic effort. Zila administration distributed cash money and relief among the victim families. Our Panchgarch correspondent says, four houses were gutted in a devastating fire that broke out at Sabouspara village in Debiganj upazila of Panchgarh district yesterday. The fire originated from the kitchen of Parimal’s house and soon engulfed the adjacent house of a family. Some four houses were burnt to ashes.
