HSBC appoints deputy CEO for Bangladesh

Mahbub-ur Rahman has been appointed as deputy CEO and country head of commercial banking for HSBC Bangladesh, effective from yesterday, the bank said in a statement.
Rahman will work to strengthen HSBC's franchise in Bangladesh, considered by the company as increasingly vital to global trade and international supply chains, it added.
Mahbub completed his graduation and Masters from University of Dhaka in Finance and also holds an MBA from Kellogg-HKUST.
