Omar Ishrak, chairman and CEO of Medtronics, is now in Dhaka on his two days business trip to Bangladesh, a press statement said
yesterday.
He held a discussion meeting with physicians, healthcare professionals and entrepreneurs during his 2-day-business trip to Bangladesh.
Medtronics is the world’s leading medical technology company operating in 160 countries worldwide.
A Bangladeshi-born-Ame-rican, Omar Ishrak, has been selected 2016 ‘Executive of the Year’ by The Minneapolis/ St. Paul Business Journal in the United States.
Before joining Medtronic, Omar spent 16 years with General Electric Company.
