Nepalese agriculture minister visits BARI

Gazipur: Nepal’s Agriculture Minister Herible Proshad Gujral expressed his interest to jointly work with Bangladesh to develop in agricultural sector. He expressed his desire while he was visiting the Bangladesh Agriculture Research Institute (BARI) in Gazipur on Friday afternoon. Nepalese minister observed BARI’s activities, progress and success of BARI and expressed his satisfaction. Director General (DG) of BARI Dr Rafikul Islam Mondol welcomed him while he reached at BARI in Gazipur. Later, a view exchange meeting was organised at the conference room of BARI where directors, divisional heads and scientists were present. Herible Proshad also visited Entomology Laboratory, flower and fruit research field, hydroponics laboratory and biotechnology research centre of BARI.
