An art camp for Street children was recently held at Jamuna Future Park in the capital. Grameen UNIQLO organised this event for the street children who are studying at JAGOO Foundation, says a press release.
CSR department of Japanese number one clothing brand UNIQLO and its Bangladeshi Unit Grameen UNIQLO organized this event for portraying the latent dream super hero of JAGOO Foundation students.
Japanese No-01 clothing brand UNIQLO started its operation in Bangladesh as UNIQLO Social Business Bangladesh Ltd. on September 2010. In 2013 started its first store in Dhaka city in the name of Grameen UNIQLO. Now Grameen UNIQLO has ten stores and another two more shops opening soon.
Grameen UNIQLO Acting CEO Onishi Suhei, Artist Professor Hamiduzzaman Khan and high officials of Grameen UNIQLO and Jagoo Foundation were present at this event.
Acting CEO of Grameen UNIQLO, Onishi Suhei said, We are doing social business in Bangladesh. We are providing comfortable cloths with affordable price and day by day creating employment and also reinvesting earned profit for expanding business, we are trying to contribute in the socio-economic development of the country.
Attending the programme, guests appreciated the initiative of Grameen UNIQLO and JAGOO foundation.
