The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Administration Ministry yesterday suggested appointing Assistant Commissioners-Land (ACs-Land) soon to 126 vacant posts across the country, reports UNB. It also recommended arrangement for transport for the ACs-Land for brining dynamism in their activities. The parliamentary watchdog came up with suggestions at its 15th meeting, held at Jatiya Sangsad with its chairman HN Ashequr Rahman in the chair, said a Parliament Secretariat handout. Committee members Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, Sukumar Ranjan Ghosh and Amina Ahmed attended the meeting.
