Bangladesh to become developed country by 2041: Minister

State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki, MP, has said the name of Bangladesh would be written in the list of the developed nations by the year 2041 next, reports BSS.
"Bangladesh has the maximum number of under 18-year age group children constituting 46 percent of the population. No other country has such huge number of children and we must properly bring them up as worthy citizens," she said.
The State Minister said this while addressing prize distribution ceremony of the annual sports competitions-2016 at Rangpur Lions School & College and inaugurating its newly built extended building here on Wednesday afternoon as the chief guest. She said none would be able to hinder advancement of Bangladesh ahead in the process of becoming a developed nation if we could properly bring up huge number of our children to turn them into worthy human resources.
Chairman of the Governing Body of Rangpur Lions School & College presided over the function participated by teachers and students of the reputed educational institution, officials, political leaders, civil society members and elite of the city.
Later, the chief guest distributed prizes among winners of different events in the annual sports competitions in the ceremony followed by rendering colourful physical display and cultural programmes by students of the institution.
