After a long break, once popular model-turned-actress Monalisa has returned to Bangladesh from New York. This time around, Monalisa has returned after three years and seems very happy after coming back to Dhaka. Monalisa herself, using her old cell phone number, yesterday has informed the news to her closet people in the media. Besides, she also wrote about her return to home in her Facebook status. DhakaLive has news that Monalisa had returned to Bangladesh three days ago, but she disclosed the news to everyone after taking some time. When asked about the reason behind informing the news of her return much later, she said, “After returning home, I have spent three days in my own way. Now (yesterday) I myself am informing everyone. I am feeling really wonderful after returning home after so many days. I am experiencing a different sense of peace.” While replying to a question about would she return to acting, she answered, “I am not able to say anything definite about it right this moment. But time will tell.” Then, when she was asked when will she go back to the USA, she said “I have just come; I want to stay for a few days on my own”, she replied smiling. “When I leave again, I will leave informing everyone. Because there is no secrecy in my life and I always have tried to keep my image clean to the viewers. Everyone, please pray for me, so that I can stay well always.” Monalisa, who got married to USA expatriate Faiaz Sharif in 2012,  has been living in New York since the last six years,. In the same year, their post marriage reception was held at a Dhaka restaurant on the magic day of 12.12.12. Then, they started living in New York, and ended up their married life through a divorce after two years. Monalisa had informed from New York that after completing the process of divorce, she will return to Dhaka, and will be regular in acting. Meanwhile, she took a job there in a Bangla TV station named Time TV. However, the last TV drama she acted was ‘Sikander Box’ three years ago, in which popular actor Mosharraf Karim was her co-artiste.
