Mostafa Jabbar and Abdullah H Kafi have been appointed advisers to the BASIS president for expanding local and international market of information technology, says a press release.
Mostafa Jabbar will give advice and assist the BASIS president Shameem Ahasan to develop the local market while Abdullah H Kafi will assist him to improve the global scopes, the statement added.
Jabbar, former vice president of BASIS, was also twice elected president of BCS. He is the founder of the famous Bangla typing software Bijoy Keyboard and proprietor of Ananda Computers.
On the other hand, Managing Director of JAN Associates Abdullah H Kafi is the president of the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industries Organization formed in association with information technology organizations from 22 countries in Asia and Oceania region. He is also a former president of BCS.
