Huawei signs Shakib as brand ambassador

Huawei, a leading global company in ICT and telecommunication solutions, paired up with iconic all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and formally announced him as its local brand ambassador yesterday.
China-based company penned a contract with Bangladesh premier all-rounder for the next two years. The company earlier appointed Argentine talismanic footballer Lionel Messi as their global brand ambassador.
The World’s 2nd largest Android Samrtphone brand has been providing innovative networking solution to leading Bangladeshi telecom operators Grameenphone, Robi and Banglalink since last few years.
 “Huawei has reached an epitome of innovation and excellence in performance over the years. We’ve provided innovative networking solution to nearly all top global telecom operators including Bangladeshi telecom operators,” Zhao Haofu, CEO of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Limited said in his welcome speech.
 “We’re happy to announce our collaboration with an extraordinary individual who inspires people all the time to pursue their dreams, to face challenges to become better with each day. A man who shares a lot of the same values with the Huawei brand and who is always looking for opportunities to reach greatness,” he also said.
After handing over a crest at the programme, Shakib Al Hasan in his reaction said, “I’m happy to be associated with Huawei. Its innovative ICT solutions, products and services are serving over one-third of the world’s population. I believe this partnership will inspire me to achieve further success in my career.  I hope together we’ll motivate millions of people to pursue excellence.”
