Lalmonirhat: A schoolboy was hacked to death and his mother and brother were injured allegedly by their neighbours over previous enmity at Amjhola village in Hatibandha upazila early yesterday, reports UNB. Officer-in-charge of Hatibandha Police Station Abdul Matin said Delwar, father of the deceased, and his neighbour Nannu Miah had been at loggerheads for long over an issue. Nannu Miah and his men swooped on the house of Delwar and hacked his wife Dhaoni Begum and their two sons Ibrahim and Abu Bakkar in the dead of night. Ibrahim, a student of class IX, died on the spot. Injured Dhaoni Begum and Abu Bakkar were admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
