hunger strike
Khulna Working Journalist Unity, a platform of local journalists, yesterday organised a token hunger strike demanding trial in veteran journalist Humayun Kabir Balu murder case. The programme started at 10am and ended at 5pm. Different organisations joined the programme expressing their solidarity with the programme. Khulna Chambers of Commerce and Industries, Khulna City Corporation, Khulna Journalists Union and Khulna Units of Awami League, BNP, Communist Party of Bangladesh and several organisations also expressed solidarity.
