Novoair launches flight on Dhaka-Barisal route

Novoair, country’s leading private airliner, has launched flight operation on Dhaka-Barisal-Dhaka route with its first flight left the capital for Barisal Saturday morning, reports BSS.
The high officials of the private aircraft company including its Managing Director Mafizur Rahman exchanged pleasantries with the passengers of the inaugural flight and greeted them with flowers, said a Novoair press release here yestserday.
An inaugural function was organised at the Barisal Airport.
Lawmakers of Barisal-5 constituency Jebunnesa Afroz, Advocate Tipu Sultan of Barisal-3, Barisal Press Club President Quazi Nasir Uddin Babul, Managing Director of Novoair Mafizur Rahman, Head of Marketing and Sales Sohel Mazid, Marketing and Sales Manager AKM Mahfuzul Alam, Manager of Barisal Airport Hanif Gazi, among others, were present.
The Novoair, the private flight operation company, will operate flight in Saturday, Sunday,Tuesday and Thursday in a week, said the release, adding that the minimum fair on Dhaka-Barisal route has been fixed at Taka 3200.
