Sit in for final results at SUST

Students of 2009-10 academic session of Anthropology department of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) staged a sit in programme and put the class room under lock demanding to publish final results. The sit in programme started at 8am and continued till 12:30 pm on Tuesday. Later they postponed the programme after they were assured to publish results by June 25. Sources said, the students of 2009-10 academic sessions gave their 4th year 2nd semester final examination on June last year. But they got the result yet. So, they are forced to lock down the department. At 12:30pm head of the department A K M Mazharul Islam came to the students and assured them to publish result by June 25. Later students postponed the programme.
