BNP leader Aslam gets bail

A court of Chittagong granted bail to Aslam Chowdhury, convenor of North District Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) yesterday. Metropolitan Magistrate Nowrin Akhter Kakon granted the bail yesterday. After five months imprisonment the BNP leader came out from jail on bail on Monday evening at this time a team of Detective Branch (DB) police and Kowtali police arrested him from jail gate. Kowtali police sources said that they have applied to court to show arrest Aslam Chowdhury in a case of January 5, 2014.
