5 AL, 2 BNP, 3 Independent candidates win chairman posts

GAIBANDHA: The election results of 12 unions under Sundarganj upazila of the district held on Thursday peacefully were announced in the evening.
Sources said three Awami League, three Independent and two BNP candidates won the posts of chairman in Gaibandha district.
Out of 12 unions, election was not held in Horipour union for non completion of the five-year term.
