Trader found dead in guest house

Netrakona: A sand trader was found dead in a guest house in Birishiri area of Durgapur upazila here on yesterday afternoon, reports UNB.
 Rezaul Karim, officer in-charge of Dhurgapur Police Station, said Nurul Islam, 30, a resident of Shantinagar area of Dhaka, came here two days ago for business purpose and rented a room of ‘Bichitra Guest House’.
After taking breakfast, he went to his room around 11:00 am.
When the cleaners of the hotel entered the room they found Nurul’s throat-slit body lying in a pool of blood on the bed around 2pm.
Later, the hotel authorities informed the matter to police. Police detained hotel manager Sujon Devnath for interrogation.
