Reaz elected president, Ali secretary

Reaz Hyder and Mohammad Ali were elected president and general secretary respectively of Chittagong Union of Journalist (CUJ). The election was held at Chittagong Press Club on Thursday from 10am to 8pm. A total of 325 out of 347 voters cast their votes in the election. Moazemul Haque, president of Election Conducting committee, announced the official results around 11.50pm on Thursday. Other elected office bearers are vice-president Nirupam Dasgupta; joint-secretary Swarup Bhattachayya; organizing secretary Sabur Shuvo; finance secretary Ujjal Kanti Dhar; press and publicity secretary Alokmoy Tolapatro and executive member Mainuddin Dulal.
