Two killed in road crash

Two fish traders were killed and another injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Hazir Bazaar in Bhaluka upazila yesterday morning. The deceased were identified as Nirob Das, 22, and Boloram Das, 36, of Hazipur village in sadar upazila of Narsingdi district. Quoting local people sub-inspector Maruf Rahman, in-charge of Bhoraduba highway police, said the accident took place when a fish-laden pick-up van bound for Trishal skidded off the road and fell into a roadside ditch, injuring the three at around 7.30 am. They were rushed to Bhaluka upazila Health Complex were the duty doctors declared Nirob and Boloram dead.
