�Rangpur to become modern city�

RANGPUR: Mayor of Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) Alhaj Sarfuddin Ahmed Jhantu has said coordinated steps have been taken for turning Rangpur into a well-habitable, modern, eco-friendly, beautiful and clean city, reports BSS.
Jhantu, also a freedom fighter and President of the City Development Coordination Committee (CDCC), said this while presiding over a regular meeting of the CDCC at his conference room in the City Bhaban on Tuesday afternoon. The City Governance Project of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) extended cooperation in organising the meeting for the CDCC members to ensure better coordination among them in running development activities of the city corporation.
