A student of Dhaka College was killed as a bus knocked down him at Tikatuli intersection in the capital on Thursday morning, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Arifur Rahman, 20, a student of Dhaka College.
Quoting witnesses, Assistant Sub-inspector of Motijheel Police Station Roman said Dhaka College student Arifur was going to his college riding a motorcycle during the accident yesterday.
When Arifur Rahman reached Tikatuli intersection in the capital yesterday, he was thrown out from the motorcycle as the vehicle slipped.
Later, a passenger bus rammed him, leaving him injured.
He was whisked off to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where on-duty doctors of the hospital declared him dead.
