Jamidarhat, Gonipur clinch school soccer titles in Noakhali

Jamidarhat Govt Primary School and Gonipur Primary School emerged champions In the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangamata Fazilatunnesa Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament respectively held on Monday at Begumganj Technical High School ground.
Jamidarhat Govt Primary School secured a 1-0 win against Hajipur A Mojid Primary School to lift the Bangabandhu Gold Cup.
Gonipur Primary School blanked Mirwarishpur Primary School 2-0 in the Bangamata Gold Cup final. Riyad Hossain and Bibi Khadiza of the winning teams were adjudged the best of the player in their respective groups.
Upazila primary Education department arranged the tournament. Khaled Saifullah, managing director of Goble Company, distributed prizes as chief guest.
