Criminal held with bombs

Kaliganj police arrested a criminal with five bombs and explosives from his house in the town early yesterday. The arrestee was Habibur Rahman, 35, of Kaliganj Collegepara. Kaliganj police officer-in-charge Anwar Hossain said acting on a tip off, a contingent of police raided the house of Habibur at about 3.30 AM yesterday. Police arrested the man and recovered the bombs and bomb-making materials from his possession. Habibur was an accused in arms and theft cases with Kaliganj police station.
