10 hurt as rivals attack

At least ten people were injured after criminal hurled bombs at them and looted valuables from a house at West Brahmandi in Narsingdi town yesterday. Police said wanted criminal Boma Shukanta Saha and his associates demanded Tk 10 lakh from Miltan Saha. As Milton refused to pay the money they launched an attack on Milton’s house. Milton and his family member tried to resist but failed. The gang damaged the house, ransacked furniture and looted cash and gold ornaments. As the victim shout for help local people rushed to the spot. Then the gang hurled about 10 to 12 bombs at them and fled away. Police reached the spot after the incident.
