At least seven people were injured in crossfire between villagers and security guards of Kabir Steel Re-rolling Mills (KSRM) over a man’s death by a KSRM lorry in front of its factory at Sitakunda in Chittagong yesterday. The injured were identified as Md Nurun Nabi, 35; Md Delowar Hossain, 35; Md Osman, 25; Md Munna, 20; Shahnaz Begum, 25; Md Rahat, 16 and Md Shahub Uddin, 18. All the injured have been admitted to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
