Create jobs for advancing Rangpur region: Minister

State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development & Cooperatives Alhaj Moshiur Rahman Ranga, MP, has called upon local entrepreneurs for setting up new industries to create jobs for advancing Rangpur region, reports BSS.
“There is alternative to ensuring international standard of produced goods for expanding export by facing challenges of globalisation,” Ranga sais while launching the month-long ‘Rangpur Industry and Trade Fair- 2016’ here on Sunday afternoon as the chief guest.
Rangpur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) and Rangpur Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RWCCI) jointly organised the fair under management of Messer’s J R Pharma at Police Lines Ground in the city.
RCCI President Abul Kashem presided over the launching ceremony where the chief guest along with other invited guest formally inaugurated the fair by releasing balloons and cutting ribbon.
The fair is being organised for expanding export market, promoting industrialisation and enhance production of quality goods by local entrepreneurs, exhibition and introduction of their produced goods for expanding business, trade and commerce.
Divisional Commissioner Kazi Hassan Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner Rahat Anwar, Assistant Superintendent of Police Ataur Rahman, President of city Awami League Shafiur Rahman Shafi and its General Secretary Tushar Kanti Mandal attended as special guests.
Senior Vice-president of RCCI Mostafa Ahmed, its Vice-president Mozammel Hossain Dambel, President of RWCCI Anwara Ferdousi Poly, its Senior Vice-president Shahanaz Parveen and Vice-president Morshed Khatun also spoke. The executive committee members and Directors of RCCI and RWCCI, former executive committee members, businessmen, bank and insurance officials, civil society members, journalists and elite were present.
