RAB men hurt in attack by drug peddlers

Two members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and a man were injured when they came under attack by drug peddlers early yesterday at Muroil High School ground in Kahalu upazila of the district.  The attack was made when the RAB team arrested one of the peddlers during a drive.  RAB-12, Bogra officials -- Md Sahin, 34, Hiru, 32, -- and RAB source Raju, 30, were injured in the attack. They have been admitted to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.  Sources said a special team of RAB went to Muroil High School ground posing as a fake drug buyer for arresting the drug traders late on Monday night. The drug traders attacked the RAB team after realising that they had been duped. Immediately after the incident another team of RAB reached the spot and arrested two persons --  Mominul Islam, 20, and  one Musa Mia, 18.
