Police arrested a young man along with five gold bars at Kamalapur Railway Station in the capital yesterday morning.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Kamalapur Government Railway Police Station Abdul Majid said acting on a tipped off, a team of police challenged Palash, 22, son of Dipak, a resident of Kachua in Chandpur district when he got down from the 'Turna Nishitha Express' coming from Chittagong at about 6:45 am at Kamlapur Railway Station.
Later, the law enforcers recovered five pieces of gold bars after searching his body and arrested him.
