35 bombs seized from madrassa

Detectives recovered 35 crude bombs from a madrassa in Doarpar area of Magura town early yesterday, reports UNB. Officer-in-charge of Sadar police station Munsi Asaduzzaman said on a tip-off, a team of DB police conducted a raid at AL Amin Residential Madrassa, run by Jamaat-e-Islami, in the area and recovered the 35 crude bombs at about 12:30 am. The crude bombs were kept in the area to carry out subversive activities, the OC added. A case was filed in this connection.
