bKash agent shot dead

 Muggers shot a ‘bKash’ agent to death and snatched Tk 45,000 in city’s Uttar Badda area yesterday, reports UNB.
Two armed muggers intercepted ‘bKash’ agent Mahbub Hossain, 30, near a mosque in the area around 11:30 am and tried to snatch away the money from him while he along with another staff was collecting money from retail shops, said Abdul Jalil, officer-in-charge of Uttar Badda Police Station.
Being resisted, the muggers shot Mahbub and looted a bag containing the money from his possession, leaving him critically injured.
Later, he was rushed to Kurmitola General Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 12:15 pm.
