Gazipur: A young man was killed after being hit by a train on the Dhaka-Mymensingh route in Bhawal area yesterday morning.
The deceased, aged between 20 and 25, could not be identified immediately, reports UNB.
Assistant sub-inspector MD Dadan Miah, in-charge of Joydebpur railway police camp, said the train hit the young man in the area in the morning, leaving him dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the body around 8:30am and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
