Japanese team meets DU VC

A five-member Japanese delegation led by Professor Dr Akira Harata, Dean of the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences of Kyushu University, Japan, today paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at his office, reports BSS.
Other members of the delegation were Prof Dr Bidyut Baran Saha, Prof Dr Tanimoto Jun, Prof Masafumi Nagaishi and Prof Dr Aya Hagishima, said a press release.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of DU Dr M Rafiqul Islam, Prof of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Dr Subrata Kumar Aditya, Chairman of the Department of Mathematics Prof Dr Amulya Chandra Mandal, and Prof Dr Anwar Hossain, among others.
