Reports on two medical varsity bills finalised

Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Health and Family Welfare yesterday scrutinised "Chittagong Medical University Bill, 2016" and "Rajshahi Medical University Bill, 2016" thoroughly and finalised reports to place at Jatiya Sangsad (JS) session with necessary correction and addition, reports BSS.
The committee made the decision at its ninth meeting with Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim in the chair. Health Minister Mohammed Nasim, MP, Md Eunus Ali Sarker, MP, Shariful Islam Jinnah, MP, and Selina Begum, MP, attended the meeting, among others. The meeting also proposed to finish the construction work of Sheikh Sayera Khatun Medical College and Hospital in Gopalganj quickly. Health secretary Syed Manjurul Islam and other top officials of health ministry and JS secretariat were present.
