Television Natyakar Sangha to be formed next month

To create a proper platform for the eminent dramatists on the country, a decision has been taken to form the Television Natyakar Sangha. For this purpose, with the presence of eminent dramatist and National Film Award winning actor Mamunur Rashid and Masum Reza, a meeting was held on March 15 with committee members. It was decided at the meeting that on April 2, a first ever national convention of the Television Natyakar Sangha will be held at the Seminal Hall (Level 6) of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
At the meeting, the future activities of Television Natyakar Sangha were discussed. The main purpose of forming such an association is to ensure the interests and further development of the dramatists. The committee members consist of Convener Mezbahuddin Sumon, Member Secretary Shafikur Rahman Shantunu and Executive Members Iffat Arefin Tanni, Prasun Rahman, Mahiuddin Ahmed, Zakir Hussain Ujjal, Hamed Hossain Nauman, Farhad Limon, Rezaur Rahman Rizvi and Utpal Sarbagga.
The criteria to be a member of the  Television Natyakar Sangha is that the dramatist must have at least three tele-dramas, telefilm or a drama serial that has been aired on television. In addition, a fee of Tk 1000 has to be paid and register the name by March 27.
