Int�l agriculture technology fair begins in city

A three-day sixth international agriculture technology fair begun yesterday in the capital with a view to enrich the entrepreneurs and the farmers from home and abroad with the knowledge of latest agricultural technology innovation and inputs, reports BSS.
State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives M Mashiur Rahman Ranga inaugurated the fair at Bashundara city here.
Rural Development Academy (RDA), Bogra organized the fair with Rural Development and Cooperative Division Secretary M A Quader in the chair.
The inaugural function of the fair was addressed, among others, by RDA director Mahamud Hossain Khan, M Nazrul Islam Khan and Quazi Sanowar Uddin.
RDA director-general M A Matin read the keynote paper.
A total of 217 stalls have been set up at the fair which showcasing various agriculture, food and milk processing machineries, agricultural commodities, renewable energy, horticultural crops and seed production technology , livestock and birds feed and its nutrition generating technology etc.
