Cases filed for illegal power connections

CHITTAGONG: A mobile court of Power Development Board (PDB), Chittagong, in a drive yesterday filed seven cases and cut off seven electric connections for not paying electricity bills and using illegal power connections, reports BSS.
Mohammad Mohiuddin, senior judicial magistrate of Power Court (North) of PDB, Chittagong, led the mobile court at city’s Patharghata area and came up with the move. The court also fined two individuals a total of TK two lakh sixty thousand for using illegal power connection.
